Onika sat in the back of the room alone with a cup in her hand. She knew she had to soon leave and sneak back into her house. If her mother knew she was at a college party with older guys she would FLIP! She would flip even more if she knew that alcohol was there too. Still sitting, onika felt a tap on her arm. She turned to see her long time (best) friend Safarre.

" Hey why are you sitting back here all alone? come dance with me," pulling her by her arm Safarre took Onika to the crowd of people.

"Farreeeeeeeeeeeee! I dont wanna dance! I gotta get home before my mom knows i even left."

" Ok ok.... just dance with me for one song........one song."

"Fine, one song but i really need to get home." with her arms around Safarre's neck, the two started to slow dance to let me know (by aaliyah).

Onika rested her head on his chest and they slowly swayed back and forth. As the song played, Safarre's hands began to get lower on Onika's back. He grabbed her waist and pulled her a little closer feeling her breath near his neck. She sang along to the song.

" You're a positive motivating force within my lifee. Should you ever feel the need to wonder why," she softly sang. "let me know, let me know."

Safarre was beginning to get a feeling he never had before. Something inside him felt tight and his hands trembbled as they moved lower and lower on her back. His heart for, some reason, began to beat a little faster. The music kind of set the mood. everone in the room was cuppled up and in a "heat of the moment" feeling. Anything that happened right then would be without care or regret. Anything....

"When you feel, what you feel," onika sang, " Oh how hard for me to understa.." Her words were cut short by Safarre's lips.
